PHYSICAL TRAINING AND GAMES

"Physical Education" has for its purpose to develop the power of the body in such a way so as to make it co-operate with those of the mind and soul for the development of the whole person. Games provide Physical Training as they develop in them initiative, decision, endurance, spirit of skill and emulation, and because they offer such splendid opportunities for moral formation and social training, they are specially encouraged.

  • Physical Training, Games and Sports are compulsory activities on the School Curriculum.
  • No child will be exempted from Physical Training or Games unless a Medical Certificate is produced. Even when exemption is granted the child must attend the above classes.

  • Habitual lack of punctuality, disobedience to Games captains or bad spirit displayed on the play field, is sufficient reason to suspend a player from games and if the offence is serious, the player will be disqualified from the Inter-House or the Inter School Matches.
