Vidhi Kashyap
(Head Girl)
“Opportunity is never presented; it has to be created. Your vision shapes your
reality and your courage helps you attain your goal.”
I, Vidhi Kashyap, Head Girl of St. Anthonys Junior College for the academic year 2023-2024, feel honored
and privileged to shoulder the responsibility of being the representative of the student body. I express
my sincere gratitude to our principal, Sr. Beena, teachers, and my fellow anthonians for entrusting their
faith in me. I assure you that every step I take will be for the betterment and upliftment of the
institution
This institution has played a substantial role in shaping the person I am today. Being the Head Girl
is not an instrument of power for me, rather I find this position a channel to make sure every student
is heard. For the past 13 years, I have been raised in an environment where discipline and hardwork
have always been encouraged and that will also be reflected in my leadership this year.
My dear Anthonians,
The world is changing rapidly. In this current scenario take time to breathe and reflect on yourselves. We often find ourselves lost in the crowd and losing our originality. You are your own strength. Be honest and real and be true to who you are. Your actions should reflect your motives and your sincerity. I firmly believe that having dreams to attain something is more subjective and imaginary than visionary. To succeed, dreams have to be turned into aims and goals. Step out of your comfort zone and experience the challenges and hurdles. True lessons are learned through experiences.
Imbibe the values that the institution proudly propagates and bring a revolution without doubting your capabilities. Every child has a unique quality, embrace your uniqueness. Never let the goodness within you tarnish. Build yourself to be a person who you can be proud of.
I hope that every individual who is a part of the Anthonian family retains their individuality and upholds the values, making this world a better place to live in.
“One does not become enlightened by imagining figures of light, but by making the darkness conscious.”

Krishna Sharma
(Head Girl)
“Stop thinking that tomorrow might be a better day to start chasing your dreams. Give it your all for the exhaustion of hard work will never be heavier that the regret of not trying”
I, Krishna Sharma, Head Girl of St. Anthony’s Junior College for the session 2022-2023 sincerely acknowledge and appreciate the trust vested in me by our respected principal Sr. Lucy, our dear teachers and the ever-energetic student body. If not for their constant support, counsel and cooperation, I couldn’t have shouldered my responsibilities immaculately. Being a part of the student council was indeed an honour where every day brought along with it a brand new experience and every challenge promised to be a stepping stone towards excellence. Having seen the practical value of discipline, teamwork, morality, leadership skills and self-confidence in real life situations, I deeply revere the high ideals embodied by our patron saints, henceforth, propagated by our mentors.
Dear Antonian’s,
It is easy to feel lost and insignificant in a world shaken by the tumults of international aggression, economic crisis, uncertainty and dehumanization. However, we must understand that courage is not the absence of fear, but its bold defiance. In times like these, faith keeps us afloat and no adversity can defeat us as long as we are grounded in our fundamental principles. If only we let go of the fear of failure, we automatically open so many so many fresh avenues of learning. Be it academics, sports, extra co-curriculars or any life goal, in general, success rightfully demands dedicated efforts and unwavering belief. And if you are willing to pay that price, there are no virtual bounds to your progress.
It is essential to understand that improvement is an ongoing process and we must neither get blindsided nor demotivated by the illusion of ‘perfection’. The Japanese philosophy of Wabi Sabi aptly advocates the search for beauty in the ‘imperfect’ aspects of life, for we must not let the desire of destination rob us of the joy of journey.
‘’One thing we are all tasked with
Is to leave behind
A world better that the
One we were born in.”

ISHITA RAWAT
(Head Girl)
Life is real! Life is earnest!
Not enjoyment, and not sorrow,
Is our destined end or way;
But to act that each tomorrow
Find us father than today
Let us, then be up and doing,
With a heart for any fate;
Still achieving, still pursuing
Learn to labour and to wait.
To be the Head Girl of your Alma Marter, the place where you have spent the
most life changing years is a great honour and privilege. I, Ishita Rawat, the Head
Girl of this prestigious institution for the academic session 2019-2020 feel blessed
to serve my institution by shouldering new responsibilities and working for the
betterment of my school.
First and Foremost I, thank the Almighty for showering his gracious blessings on
each one of us. I, thank my Principal Sr. Lucy, all the respected teachers and dear
Anthonians for having faith in me and making me the representative of this
institution. The Head Girl is not important from the view that she is different from
other Council Members but she is the one who will be working in team and yet
demonstrating leadership. St. Anthony’s as a school is the best platform to
develop ones talent, interactive skills and put ones ideas into actions. We at St.
Anthony’s have gems in the form of teachers who are paving the path of our
future so gracefully. From the very beginning of my academic session that is from
class L.K.G till date this school has given me various things in the form of
learning’s, knowledge, value and opportunities. Thus, it is the duty of each one of
us to gain as much as we can from our teachers and make them proud of us.
My dear Anthonians,
We live in a Globalized World. So we need to train ourselves to be well rounded.
We all are leaders, we all are unique but, do remember that success is attracted
by hard work, commitment, dedication and passion and for this we need purpose
and inspiration. Prove your worth for being here. Excel at everything and set
goals. As this is the last year of my school journey. I, extend my heartfelt gratitude
to my Principal, my teachers and my school for nurturing me and bringing me up
to a stage of being responsible, disciplined and a leader that today I am here to
express my views with all of you.
Watch your Thoughts,
They become Words.
Watch your Words,
They become Actions.
Watch your Actions,
They become Habits.
Watch your Habits,
They become Character.
Watch your Character,
It becomes The Destiny.

Sanaah Jain
(Head Girl)
“Two things define you,
Your Patience when you have nothing and your Attitude when you have everything.”
You can’t go back and change the beginning, but you can start where you are and
change the ending.
I, Sanaah Jain, Head Girl of St. Anthony’s Junior College for the academic session
2018-2019 feels blessed and privileged to see myself as a proud representative of
the Anthonian family and shouldering this great responsibility.
At the onset, I am grateful to the Almighty for showering his gracious blessings
on each one of us. A heartfelt gratitude towards our Principal, Sister Lucy, teachers
and all you dear Anthonians for believing in me and for being a source of constant
support and inspiration.
It is my last year in this institution and this feeling of leaving a place where
one has spent the most tender and life changing years of life is indescribable
and at the same time putting in words what this institution does for its students
is really next to impossible. St. Anthony’s Junior College stands on the anvils
of integrity and humility helping students to set for themselves a set of principles
and ideals that would encourage them in their lives and would help them to influence
and lighten the lives of others as well.
My dear Anthonians,
In a society that benefits from self doubt, self-belief and self-validation is a
rebellious act. When we know ourselves we are empowered but when we accept ourselves,
we become invincible. In the present day, especially we, the young women need to
be more strong and independent. We need to WORK. We need to STRUGGLE. Life is not
perfect, neither it is meant to be so, but its we who can pick up the stones it
throws at us and built a strong fortress. Have a dream and work hard, sweat out
to live that dream. NEVER GIVE UP. We will have hindrances and obstacles but it
is in these situations, that we find the hidden reserves of our talents, courage
and resilience that had remained unknown to us.
So this is our time.
To bury the past, to live in the present in the hope of a bright future for,
”We are meant for the stars and not for the dust that settles the ground”

Anishka Sachdeva
(Head Girl)
"To become a Diamond you have to be cut and polished" and "To be a shining star
you have to be burnt."
Foremost, I, Anishka Sachdeva, head girl of St. Anthony’s Junior College, Agra for
the academic session 2017-2018 indeed feel blessed and fortunate to shoulder this
great responsibility. I wish to express my heartfelt gratitude towards God for showering
his abundant grace on all of us. A sincerest thanks to our Principal Sr. Lucy,
Teachers and all my dear Anthonians for reposing faith in me. The gratitude is beyond
words for giving me the opportunity to serve my alma mater. St. Anthony’s has given
me a lot and has moulded me into what I am today, both in thought and conduct. The
only thing I can do for my school, as the head girl is to take the name of the school
to a higher pedestal.
My dear friends, we all have a leader within us. It is men, who possess the qualities
to make history but not the other way round. In the absence of leadership society
stands still. Progress occurs when courageous, skilful leaders seize the opportunity
to change the things for better. We all should have a vision. A vision upon which
we should articulate clearly and forcefully on all occasions. So all my dear Anthonians,
recognize the leader within you and work with full enthusiasm and exuberance to
achieve your goals, because leadership is nothing, but the capacity to transform
vision into reality.
I would advise all the Anthonians not to be afraid of pursuing your dreams, however
impossible they may seem. Also, you must keep exploring the depths of your own ability,
for each one of us possess latent talents and gifts – a hidden treasure chest of
potential, deep within waiting to be unlocked and utilized.
But at the same time, we must always uphold our values and principles, even though
this is becoming an increasingly difficult task in the present world of degenerating
morals. We must constantly endeavour to live in the light of the vision of our mother
foundress, St. Claudine Thevenet. Do your work wholeheartedly with utmost sincerity
and honesty.
Lastly I would like to conclude by wishing the best to all in their endeavours and
encourage all the students to never give up and embrace all the challenges of life.
“Patient and steady with all he must bear,
Ready to meet every challenge with care,
Easy in his faith, refreshingly real,
Isn’t afraid to propose what is bold,
Doesn’t conform to the usual mold.
Eyes that have foresight
For hindsight won’t do.
Never backs down when he sees what is true
Growing in strength won’t be unnerved
Such is a leader ever assuming he will stand by his word”

KAVYA BENARA
(Head Girl)
“Education is the passport to the future, For tomorrow belongs to those who prepare
for it today.”
I, Kavya Benara, head girl of St. Anthony’s Junior College for the academic session
2016-2017, indeed feel blessed and fortunate to shoulder this great responsibility.
It gives me immense pleasure to opine my views and thoughts with you all. I would
like to thank the Almighty for showering his choicest blessings on all of us. My
sincerest and heartfelt gratitude towards my Principal Sr. Josefina, Teachers and
all my dear Anthonians for placing their trust in me and being the guiding light
and a constant source of inspiration. This institution has made me what I am today.
It is an entire family where each child is unique and is developed into a holistic
person. The reason I can say this with such conviction is because I have experienced
this transformation first hand. We are liberated, motivated and empowered to explore
our individual gifts. I personally have gained different yet equally valuable lessons
throughout my voyage at St. Anthony’s.
I have always found that anything worth achieving will have obstacles, barriers
and several impediments in the path, you have got to have the spirit and determination
to overcome those hurdles on the way to whatever it is you want “If you believe
in yourself and have dedication and pride and never quit, you’ll be a WINNER. The
price of victory is high but so are the rewards.”
The price of success is hard work, dedication to the job at hand and the determination
that when we win or lose, we have given the best of ourselves to the enterprise
at hand. For an Anthonian, it is pivotal to take part in extracurricular activities
as it focuses not only on academics but also on the all round development of the
student. Our school emphasizes on value education and inculcates in the students
the values of discipline, punctuality and cleanliness. Mark Twain rightly said,
“The secret of getting ahead is getting started.”
Therefore I humbly request all my fellow Anthonians to work earnestly for their
goals and ambitions, never shirk odd from their duties and strive continuously till
labour bears fruit. Do not forget the virtue of integrity which should be deeply
engraved in everyone’s heart. Do your work wholeheartedly with utmost sincerity
and honesty. Lastly, I would like to conclude by wishing the best to all in their
endeavours and encourage all the students to give their best efforts and embrace
all the opportunities the school has to offer.
May light always surround you
Hope kindle and rebound you
May your hurts turn to healing
Your hearts embrace feeling
May wounds become wisdom
Every kindness a prism
May laughter infect you
Your passion resurrect you
May goodness inspire your deepest desires
Through all that you reach for
Your arms never tire.

Divyani Dubey
(Head Girl)
"A dream is only a dream, until you decide to make it real.”
It gives me, Divyani Dubey, Head Girl of this prestigious institution for the academic
year 2015-16, great joy to have this opportunity to give a message to all of you.
I feel a sense of pride as well as gratitude when I reflect over the wonderful journey
I have had in my school so far. Over the years, St. Anthony's has been a second
home to me and has had a pivotal role in moulding the foundations of my character.
I cannot thank enough this institution which has substantially shaped me into what
I am today.
"Only those who will risk going too far can possibly find out how far one can go."
St. Anthony's truly envisages this statement by building up each child's self confidence
along with essential values of compassion, integrity and endurance. The school believes
that every child is unique and recognizes their potential to help them achieve greater
heights.
The poet David Whyte writes: "The antidote to exhaustion may not be rest. It may
be wholeheartedness. You are so exhausted because all of the things you are doing
are just busyness. There's a central core of wholeheartedness totally missing from
what you're doing." This clearly depicts the importance of enjoying and loving your
work. When we do something with all our heart, that's when our efforts produce the
best results.
The question "Am I looking for what's right or am I looking for what's wrong?" has
the power to shift a moment of despair into a moment of delight. When we look for
what's right, we consciously refocus the lens of our perceptions and a whole new
reality emerges. We must look for that silver lining even amongst the darkest clouds
of despair, if we search hard enough, we will always find it.
The one thing that you have and nobody else has is you - your voice, your mind,
your story, your vision. So write and draw and build and play and live only as you
can. In conclusion, I would thank God for his abundant blessings and hope that
this academic year turns out to be a fruitful one for all my Dear Anthonians.

Manika Chaudhary
(Head Girl)
It is indeed a great privilege and honour for me to head the newly elected student
council of the academic session 2014-15 along with that it gives me immense pleasure
to convey my message to all of you.
“Leaders become great not because of their power, but because of their ability to
empower others.”
The ability includes in totality the virtues like integrity, compassion, along with
the vision of our school which builds the whole some personality of each Anthonian.
Each child is unique with her own potential and St. Anthony's is a platform where
each individual is given an opportunity to bring forth her hidden talent.
I, Manika Chaudhary, the head girl of St. Anthony’s Junior College, take this opportunity
to owe my gratitude towards my Principal, my Teachers and my Institution, for they
have made me what I am today. My hidden talents have been brought to the fore front
which I myself was unaware of and made me capable and confident enough to hold
this esteemed post of head girl.
I am indebted to you St. Anthony’s....
In the end I would like to thank the Almighty for his blessings on each one of us
and I hope this year turns out to be a fruitful session for all my fellow Anthonians.
Thank you all once again

Devanshi Mehra
(Head Girl – 12-B)
St. Anthony’s Junior College visualizes a new India that is just and humane
This is the vision of our prestigious institution which has been successful in achieving
the same by moulding each child’s character with moral and ethical values.
The best combination of education, talent and moral values makes this school in
a true sense – “A Temple of learning”.
A thirteen year old long journey in this school has made me realize that each student
of St. Anthony’s Junior College stands unique and talented, and our school leaves
no stone unturn in helping the child to recognize her mettle and promoting it in
all possible spheres.
It gives me, DEVANSHI MEHRA, Head Girl of this Prestigious Institution (2013-14)
immense pleasure to have the privilege to give a message to all of you.
Rightly said by Nelson Mandela, “Education is the most powerful Weapon which you
can use to change the world”
St. Anthony’s Junior College proves the afore said lines as it has been and is imparting education which is best in all manner and has helped in digging out DIAMONDS
FROM THE RAW
Each child has the supreme potential to achieve success by a sheer dint of hard
work as,
“Lives of all great man remind us
We can make our lives sublime.
And, departing, leave behind us
Foot prints on the sands of Time”
I am indeed thankful to my Principal, my teachers and my school for bringing about
the best in me by inculcating values of respect, hard work, Compassion, friendship
and above all -LEADERSHIP.
This School has given me all the opportunities to avail of and to learn and grow.
It has been a guiding source of light for me, which guided and supported me throughout
and I am extremely proud to be a part of this institution which produces leaders
of tomorrow who will work hard to change the world for the good.
In the end I would like to thank God for his blessings on all of us and I hope that
this year turns out to be a successful session for all my fellow Anthonians.
Thank you all once again

Sonakshi Faujdar
(Head Girl – 12-B)
Swami Vivekanand said, “Education is the manifestation of the perfection that is
within one.”
St. Anthony’s Junior College believes in the same. It believes in the power of moulding
the lives of thousands of young girls who will tomorrow take up the mantle of society
and lead it into the future.
It gives me, Sonakshi Faujdar, Head Girl of this prestigious institution for the
academic session 2012-2013, great joy to have this opportunity to give a message
to all of you.
Over the 13 years that I have been part of this school, I have realized that each
of my fellow Anthonian has infinite potential and St. Anthony’s has brought that
out.
Throughout our school years, we gain education by a value-based system where all-round personality development of a child is given more importance than just gaining
good marks. Our school stresses on making a child a good human being first – who
has strong moral ethics and is hard working–qualities which are highly required
and extremely rare today in our country as we work upon our vision – “St. Anthony’s
visualises a new India that is just and humane.”
We all have limitless potential. It is more important to grow and learn each day
and work hard to achieve our goals for we have to remember that,
“Heights by great people were not attained in a single flight. They while their
companions slept, were toiling upwards in the night.”
I am deeply indebted to my Principal, my teachers and my school for teaching me
the value of hard work, dedication, kindness, endurance and friendship.
St. Anthony has given me love, support, comfort and shelter and is a second home
and I am extremely proud to be part of an institution where welfare of the child
always comes first.
In the end I would just like to thank God for his blessings on each one of us and
hope that the year turns out to be fruitful for all my fellow Anthonians.
Thank You All Once Again

Asawari Agarwal
(Head Girl)
St. Anthony’s Junior College believes that “What sculpture is to a block of marble
education is to the soul”.
As, the head girl of this prestigious institution, I, Asawari Agarwal, feel a sense
of utmost pride, honour, & gratitude, as I go back to the last 14 years & ponder
over the innumerable oppertunities & blessings which my alma matter has showered
upon me.
I cannot put into words what this school has done for me or for any other student
who has done for me or for any other student who has over been a true Anthonian.
Being a convent of Jesus & Mary, St. Anthony’s has ungreved in each one of us the
principles of discipline integrity & dilligence, but what makes us stand out in
the crowd is our determination, will power & confidence to face the challenges of
the world.
Our school believes in imparting knowledge not information. For an Anthonian Co-curicular
activities are as important as academics.
St. Anthony’s focusses on the all round development of its pupils & emphasizes on
progressing as the time change & as our Principal always used to say that our parents
play a vital role in our development.
e-Care is an outstanding effort towards integrating parents & teachers, bonding
with the students to bring about a devastating change in the education system.
