Principal's Message

"There are two ways of spreading light: to be the candle or the mirror that reflects it."

— Edith Wharton

Dear Parents, Teachers, Students and Well-wishers,

Welcome to the digital portal of St. Anthony’s Jr. College, Agra.

As I reflect on our mission, my vision for St. Anthony’s is deeply rooted in creating an environment where every single individual feels accepted, valued and supported. Education at our institution goes far beyond academic excellence; it is about the all-round development of our students, nurturing them to grow into compassionate, responsible and truly good human beings.

Achieving this vision is not a solitary journey—it requires seamless teamwork. I want to take this opportunity to express my heartfelt gratitude to our exceptionally committed and dedicated teachers, our efficient administrative team and our hardworking support staff. Your tireless efforts form the backbone of this institution. Furthermore, this beautiful journey of learning is made complete by the constant cooperation, trust and support of our wonderful parents and students.

In all that we do, we strive to follow in the footsteps of our Rev. Foundress, St. Claudine Thévenet. We are called to be true mothers to the children entrusted to our care—approaching them with a spirit of forgiveness, deep compassion and understanding.

Let us commit ourselves to looking beyond flaws, learning to experience the inherent goodness in others and cultivating a community of love. To live the motto of our school, "Be a Light to Enlighten," let us ignite the spark of knowledge and empathy within our students, empowering them to go out into the world and be a light to enlighten others.

May God bless our St. Anthony's family.

Sr. Gracy Paul

Head Girl's Message

Head Girl

With profound grace of the Almighty, and the belief of our Principal, the dreams of us Anthonians find their wings to soar high in the sky and reach heights which used to leave us in awe of its demeanor.

As I set forth in this last year of mine in this prestigious Institution, I reflect upon these 13 years that I’ve spent in this school and I see the dreams that never halted for once in each one of us who tends to call herself an Anthonian, the passion that grew stronger with each passing day, the sense of service, the empathy and most importantly – the aspect of being a family at heart; that is the beauty of St. Anthony’s Jr. College. It constitutes all of us as one and imparts the very same values to each one of us and gives that tint of belongingness and the environment full of love.

“It’s not about where you start, it’s about where you finish.
Keep pushing till the checkered flag falls.”

MAX VERSTAPPEN

My dear Anthonians,

There’s the whole world waiting for you to explore it and dream wonders for it’s you whose in charge of this beautiful life, but never let something control you because if you let it, then it is certain that it will rule over you. Always learn to be humble and full of gratitude towards everything that life offers and even more for what it keeps you away from, for God always has a better plan for us than what we have for ourselves.

It is the nature of the world to put its utmost efforts as in to demolish what one jots days and nights to build for one’s own self. We must never give in to those tactics and certainly should not renunciate to be one of them either. Do what your heart says, keeping in mind the outcome of your actions. One should not overlook what your country, your school, your family did for you, but reflect upon “What can I do for them in return?”

As I conclude with this, I hope that we keep the dignity and the pride we take in calling ourselves Anthonians, alive. May we all be bestowed with the strength to reform and resolve what stands essential for the enhancement of humankind, then, now and thereafter.

Our Foundress

The Foundress, St. Claudine Thevenet was born in Lyon, France on 30 March 1774. When the French Revolution broke out in 1789 two of Claudine's brothers were among those arrested for opposing the new regime. Claudine visited them in prison and followed the prisoners to the place of execution. As they passed by, they whispered: "Forgive Glady, as we forgive'! She certainly forgave those who had denounced her brothers but the young girl of 19 was never to forget...
