Principal's Message

"Education is not the learning of facts but training the mind to think." - Albert Einstein

At the core of St. Anthony's Junior College lies an understanding that education transcends the mere accumulation of facts, moulding minds to think innovatively and creatively. Inspired by the profound wisdom and vision of our esteemed Mother Foundress, St. Claudine Thévenet, we recognize the power of education in shaping a better world and developing our nation.

Head Girl's Message

Prashasvi Jain
Head Girl

By God’s grace, and through the faith of our Principal and the strength of belief, a dream that my ten-year-old self once saw has finally become a reality.

Through this journey, I discovered what it truly means to lead, to serve, and to belong. It taught me that leadership is not about thinking of oneself, but about showing up every single day — carrying the hopes of many on your shoulders.

The true essence of our prestigious Institution lies in its people. It lives within each of you who carry its spirit forward every day.

So, my dear Anthonians,
Each one of you holds within you a universe of potential. Never shrink your dreams to fit the world; instead, expand your world to fit your dreams. You already have within you everything you need to become whoever you wish to be.

The opinions of others may echo around you, but remember — at the end of each day, the only conversation that truly matters is the one between you and your own soul.

Follow what brings you joy, not what the world expects of you. And most importantly, look beyond yourself — to your school, your city, your country, and the world — and ask, “What can I do to make this better?”

As I leave these corridors, I pray that we all keep the Anthonian Dream alive in all its glory. May we walk forward with grace in our hearts, courage in our stride, and the unyielding belief that we were born not just to exist, but to make a difference.

Because once an Anthonian, forever an Anthonian.

Our Foundress

The Foundress, St. Claudine Thevenet was born in Lyon, France on 30 March 1774. Claudine visited them in prison and followed the prisoners to the place of execution. As they passed by, they whispered: "Forgive Glady, as we forgive'! She certainly forgave those who had denounced her brothers but the young girl of 19 was never to forget...
